"The apparatus is now cheaply made. I have been using these blinds for a number of years & they've been perfect! Recently, (after 9 years) one failed to close, so I ordered the exact same one to replace it. I was told that the new blinds were redesigned to a better standard. Well, sad to say it’s not true. Now there are fewer cords that run through the headrail - only 2, while my older one had 4! I believe this lack of cords is what causes the gap in the headrail seating against the top - it's just too weak to snap it closed tightly. I thought this was a failure in the blind so I sent photos & they agreed and sent me a new one. However, the new one has the same problem and is even a little worse. Now the gap is along the entire headrail. It’s a sloppy close when you lift it up & leaks light through. Another problem is the plastic pulls they provide are smaller than the old ones. This would be kind of ok except the new blind is very tight and more difficult to open & close. It doesn't slide open and close smoothly like the older ones and a larger pull would assist in opening & closing the blind. The one good thing I would like to mention is their customer service response. They responded very quickly and ordered me a new one immediately. I am impressed with that. Sorry that both new ones were not what I expected in quality."

We were replacing 10-year-old shades made by a large, well-known company. The shades from Linen Avenue were less than half the cost, and even better, they attached perfectly to the clips we had in place for the old shades. The entire process to remove and replace the four shades took less than 15 minutes. WE LOVE THEM!"
