MOUNTING OPTIONS:
Our cordless cellular shades are easy to install and use and are compatible with our inside or outside window frame mounts. The mounting brackets can be screwed into the wall or ceiling and features hidden mounting brackets for a sleek finish. -
HOW TO ORDER:
Measure the width and height in three places. Round down to the nearest 1/8th inch available. To ensure mobility within the window frame and space for the mounting brackets, our team will deduct 1/4th of an inch from the width ordered. (For example, if you order 34 inches, your blinds will arrive exactly 33 3/4th inches wide). For an outside mount, we recommend adding 3 to 4 inches to the width when ordering.

HARDWARE:
End caps, simple snap-in top mount brackets and mounting hardware are included. Minimum inside mount bracket installation is 1 3/8th inches deep. Minimum fully flush for inside mount: 2 3/8th inches. -

"Linen Avenue Standard Cellular Blackout Cordless Shade (White)- Ordered 72" width and requested it not be trimmed. We mounted the shade up inside the window trim so that it is mostly hidden when retracted (all the way up). Having the proper measurements to prepare your window trim is important and we had to contact Linen Avenue to confirm measurements. Shade does block light with the exception of the gaps surrounding it on the sides and bottom. Light will come in sides and bottom, anywhere there is a gap. It does not have a button to open/close which makes it difficult to get the shade to stay down at the bottom of the window frame. We try to pull it down so it rests on the window frame so there is no gap at bottom, but it is near impossible because the shade wants to retract upwards. This prevents it from sitting tight against the window sill at the bottom, as it wants to hover above it. If we pull it past the window frame and leave it hang below, the light comes in the sides more because there is a bigger gap. Compared to Levolor this shade was better quality since Levolor quality has gotten worse and they removed the button that controls shade opening/closing on bottom rail. We wanted a black or dark gray color, but the dark gray is too light for our liking. The dark gray appears darker on the website; however, when we received the color sample, the dark gray was not as dark as we were hoping for near black. Would love to see Linen Avenue make black. Bought on sale with 10% discount for $112.66."
